COVID-19 Data Page
This page is for up to date COVID-19 data for the Town of Fairfield. Graphs are updated daily Monday through Friday and changes frequently throughout the day. All data is preliminary and subject to change. Please note, graphs may not show up on mobile devices. The State of Connecticut Department of Public Health uses the Connecticut Electronic Disease Surveillance System. This system is used by the Health Department to obtain case numbers, deaths, and other demographic information.
As of March 2022, the CDC developed COVID-19 Community Levels. This is a measure of the impact of COVID-19 illness on health and healthcare systems. To view the Community Levels in CT and Fairfield County, please visit the CDC webpage.
As of April 4, 2022, the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health stopped reporting daily case counts and will now only report the number of positive tests. For State of Connecticut daily data, please see their webpage.

The data is constantly being reviewed and updated by the State of Connecticut Department of Public Health and this may impact case numbers for the Town.

Fairfield Laboratory Confirmed COVID-19 Cases by General Population, University Population and Elder Facilities
Fairfield has seven nursing home/assisted living facilities. These residents are our most vulnerable to the COVID-19 virus and the facilities are doing everything they can to protect their residents from the virus including increased testing. These facilities are also inspected by the CT Department of Public Health who is providing guidance and direction on the care of COVID-19 cases. The Fairfield Health Department continues to monitor the situation and is in consistent contact with the facilities to provide any assistance or materials needed.
