Due to recent weather events, the United Illuminating Company (UI) has informed the Town that it will have multiple engineering and vegetation management crews throughout Fairfield over the next few days and probably into next week. UI will be assessing their infrastructure, as well as any hazardous trees the company may have missed during recent storms.

A lot of private trees have been affected during these storms so UI may have to access private property in order to properly evaluate these issues. UI workers will have proper ID using a lanyard around their necks with a badge attached which will assist residents in identifying them.
