First Selectman Mike Tetreau, on behalf of the Fairfield Emergency Management Team, issued the following update on preparation for Hurricane Joaquin:

Given the most recent projected path showing Hurricane Joaquin heading out to sea and  not impacting the Connecticut area, the Town is suspending storm preparations. The Town will continue to monitor the Hurricane and notify you of any changes.
