First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that Bankwell has renewed its commitment as the lead sponsor of Fairfield Restaurant Week which is scheduled to make its return on Sunday, October 11, 2015 through Saturday, October 17, 2015.
More than 30 restaurants are expected to participate in this year’s event with special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus showcasing their finest culinary offerings.
First Selectman Mike Tetreau said, “We are grateful for Bankwell’s continued support of this popular, town-wide event, which has quickly become an annual tradition celebrating Fairfield’s many fine restaurants.” Bankwell Senior Vice President Robert Palermo added, “We are excited to again take part in this community event, and I look forward--like everyone else--to sampling the best that Fairfield’s restaurants have to offer.”
Additionally, the original Fairfield Magazine, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, has signed on as the exclusive magazine media sponsor for Fairfield Restaurant Week, and will host an opening reception in the Bruce S. Kershner Gallery at the Fairfield Public Library on Sunday, October 11th at 4:00 pm. Fairfield Magazine will present an exhibition featuring 30 of Fairfield Magazine's most iconic covers. The opening reception will include a special "Taste of Fairfield," and "Best Dish" competition to kick-off the exhibition and Fairfield's 4th Annual Restaurant Week. The event is free and open to the public.
