Dear Fairfielders,
I’m sending this pre-holiday newsletter to remind our residents that this Saturday is “Small Business Saturday”. This is always a big day for all our amazing small businesses that truly make Fairfield feel like home. As a small business owner alongside my husband for over 30 years in Fairfield, I know firsthand the dedication and sacrifice that running a successful small business takes. So many of our small businesses are run by our neighbors who are an integral part of our community. The involvement of these business owners includes supporting our local charitable causes, non-profit organizations and athletic teams.
Small Business Saturday is an opportunity to support our treasured small businesses in Fairfield to either begin your holiday shopping or get in the spirit for our annual Holiday Shop & Stroll on December 8th.
I hope you will take the time to view some of our Town's fun upcoming events and opportunities to support our Town's local Mom & Pops below.

Small Business Saturday will take place on November 26th from 10 AM – 2 PM. Stop by the official Welcome Station on Sherman Green from 10 AM until 2 PM on Small Business Saturday, at which shoppers may receive a complimentary “Shop Small” canvas shopping bag, courtesy of American Express, as well as other free goodies, while supplies last. Small Business Saturday began in 2010 as a way to celebrate and support small businesses. The Town of Fairfield has been a proud supporter and Neighborhood Champion since the program’s inception. |

The 10th Annual Holiday Shop & Stroll will take place on Thursday, December 8th from 6 PM – 9 PM. To kick off the night, join us at South Bay for a pre-event happy hour from 5 PM – 6 PM for cocktails and apps. Participating shops will stay open late and offer an assortment of hors d’oeuvres and seasonal refreshments. Be on the lookout for additional festive happenings, such as the traveling carolers and musicians from local schools that will fill the air with holiday cheer. Once you’ve wrapped up your shopping, meet us at Isla & Co for an after-party starting at 8:30 PM.
