12/29/2021 - 12.29 COVID TEST KIT UPDATE Dear Fairfielders, I am sorry to have to share that we were notified an hour ago by the Governor's office that the COVID test kits have not yet arrived in the state. I am very frustrated as I am sure you are too. It would have been helpful if the test kits were in the state before towns and cities were asked to set up distribution sites. At this point, we don’t know when to expect the test kits. We hope to get an update tonight or first thing in the morning. Visit the Town of Fairfield's website homepage at www.fairfieldct.org beginning at 8 AM Thursday morning for notice of any changes we will have to make with the distribution hours or if we will have to change the date. The Emergency Management Team will work as quickly as we can to distribute the tests as soon as we receive them. Please remember to check our website tomorrow morning at 8 am for updates.
