First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today that the Town of Fairfield and the Fairfield Chamber of Commerce will co-sponsor a “Shop & Stroll Into Spring” event on Thursday, March 26, 2015. For more information on this annual event, please visit www.fairfieldct.org/shopnstroll.

“This is a great opportunity to celebrate the arrival of spring, support our local businesses and enjoy a fun night out with family and friends,” said First Selectman Mike Tetreau.

Participating shops in downtown Fairfield will stay open late and will offer patrons an assortment of complimentary hors d’oeuvres and seasonal refreshments from 5 pm to 9 pm. Local restaurants will be offering dinner or drink specials throughout the evening. 

In addition, Tumble Jungle of 111 Black Rock Turnpike will be hosting a “Parents Night Out” on March 26, 2015 for children ages 3-12 so that moms and dads can go out, shop, and enjoy their night! The cost is $30 per child and $20 for any additional siblings. Pizza will be included for dinner, and the kids will play games in the gym, do arts and crafts, go zip lining, and use all of Tumble Jungle’s inflatables and more. Beverly Balaz, President of the Chamber of Commerce added, “The Chamber of Commerce is happy to be partnering with the Town on this event as it will give our merchants another opportunity to open their doors to the community, meet new customers from surrounding towns and provide a wonderful shopping experience!”
