The Town of Fairfield's Emergency Services wishes to inform the Fairfield community that the National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for our area starting at midnight tonight until 6pm on Saturday. We can expect snow, sleet and freezing rain. Current forecasts predict snow accumulations ranging from 3 to 5 inches with up to 1/10 of an inch of ice.

Residents should use caution while driving as roadways may be slippery. Residents are also encouraged not to park on the streets so Department of Public Works can clear snow from the roadways if necessary. Residents should monitor local news reports for updated weather forecast information.

Emergency Management officials will be monitoring the situation and post additional updates as needed.
