Primaries will be held for enrolled Democratic and Republican voters on August 14th, 2018. Offices on the ballot for both parties will include Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and Treasurer; the Republican primary will also choose candidates for Comptroller and US Senate.
Voters should report to their usual polling places from 6am to 8pm; voters in the Holland Hill School voting district (District 7) will be voting at Fairfield University, Dolan School of Business due to summer construction work. We recommend that voters enter the University on Barlow Road for the most direct access to the polling place.
To check your party registration status and/or polling location visit the Secretary of State's Voter Registration Lookup. New voter registrations and party affiliations will be accepted if submitted online or postmarked by August 9th, or in person up until 12 noon on August 13th at the Registrars' office.
Those who would like to obtain an absentee ballot may do so by contacting the Town Clerk's Office at 611 Old Post Road. Click here for more information from the Town Clerk on absentee voting in the primaries.
