This month's Diabetes Support Group features a talk on “Eye Health and Diabetes” with Scott Seo M.D. Ph.D., Eye Surgeon and Physician, Fairfield Ophthalmology

The meeting is Tuesday, September 9, 1:00-2:00 PM at the Fairfield Senior Center- Room 14, 100 Mona Terrace, Fairfield, CT 06824

According to the National Eye Institute, “Diabetic eye disease refers to a group of problems that people with diabetes may face as a complication of diabetes. People with diabetes are at risk for diabetic retinopathy, cataract and glaucoma.”

The Diabetes Support Group is held the second Tuesday of each month, September- June, from 1-2 PM at the Fairfield Senior Center, Room 14. Pre-registration is not required and
the program is free. If the Fairfield Public Schools are closed or delayed due to bad weather, the Senior Center will be closed and programs will be cancelled. Please call
