The Fairfield Department of Public Works has announced that road work will be occurring on the peninsula section of Fairfield Beach Road from #1600 to the turnaround. This is the final restoration of the Aquarion Water Company work which began last summer.

The top layer of pavement is scheduled to be milled off on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. The asphalt paving is scheduled to be performed on Wednesday, May 30, 2018. The Fairfield Police Department will oversee traffic control during this construction work.
