3/12/2018 - Solarize Fairfield Deadline Extended: Homeowners Can Participate Through May 15

Over the past 20 weeks, the Town of Fairfield has been working with its designated solar installer, All Green It, to help residents tap the appealing cost-saving and environmental benefits of clean solar energy.

Under Solarize Fairfield, residents who contract for a new installation receive a price discount. Due to high interest in the program, the reduced pricing will now be available to residents who sign a contract by May 15.

Over the last four months, over 100 residents have inquired about solar for their homes through Solarize Fairfield.

Solarize Fairfield offers residents quality equipment installed by a reputable company for a lower cost than what is typically available due to the aggregated savings of residents going solar together in the community. The 30% federal tax credit that saves the average Solarize homeowner over $5,000 on the cost of going solar starts to decrease after 2019.

To participate or find out more about the program, visit www.SolarizeCT.com/Fairfield.

For further information, please contact Sustainable Fairfield Task Force (formerly Fairfield Clean Energy Task Force) Chair Scott Thompson at (203) 912-0211.
