On Saturday, July 1, 2017, Fairfield Police Officers from the Day Shift will be hosting a two-hour Coffee with a Cop event where community members can come together in an informal, neutral space to discuss community issues, build relationships, and drink coffee.
The majority of contacts law enforcement has with the public happen during emergencies, or emotional situations. Those situations are not always the most effective times for relationship building with the community.
Coffee with a Cop provides a unique opportunity for community members to ask questions and learn more about the Department’s work in Fairfield.
This event will be hosted at Duchess Restaurant, 625 Post Road. All members of the community are invited to attend.
Fairfield’s Police Department hopes that community members will feel comfortable to ask questions, discuss concerns, or simply get to know its officers. These interactions are the foundation of community partnerships.
