First Selectman Mike Tetreau announced today the prize winners from those who participated in the special passport promotion in connection with Fairfield Restaurant Week, which was held October 16-22, 2016. A complete list of all winners can be found at www.fairfieldct.org/rw.
At a drawing held Friday afternoon, Ana Velez of Fairfield won the fabulous grand prize package that includes one night’s stay, deluxe accommodations, at the Delamar Southport, plus dinner for two at the acclaimed Artisan Restaurant, and a 60 minute couple’s massage at the Spa at Delamar. Other prize winners included Alan Sheketoff of Fairfield, who won dinner for four at The Grey Goose and Spotted Horse Restaurants, and Linda Goldstein of Fairfield who won a weekend stay package courtesy of the Hotel Hi Ho and Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant.
The Town’s Community and Economic Development Department, which has spearheaded this event and similar retail-based initiatives, is asking community members to fill out a post event survey by going to https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/16FRW. As an added incentive, those who complete the online survey by 12:00 noon on Tuesday, November 22nd will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win a $25 gift card to Mecha Noodle Bar or Tazza Osteria & Bar. The survey is intended to get the public’s feedback on their dining out experience in Fairfield during Restaurant Week.
First Selectman Tetreau said, “I wanted to thank everyone who helped make our fifth annual Fairfield Restaurant Week such a rousing success. Fairfield Restaurant Week has quickly become something of a tradition—something to look forward to each year—and each year, it seems to get better and better. The word is out that Fairfield is the “in” place for dining, and I want to thank our many fine restaurants and businesses for participating.”
Community and Economic Development Director Mark Barnhart added, “I especially want to thank our primary sponsor, Bankwell, and our many prize contributors, especially our grand and special prize contributors, Delamar Southport, Artisan Restaurant, the Spa at Delamar. We want to continue to grow this event, and make it even better, and so we’d love to hear from the public through the on-line survey.”
