“Food Safety”

 Paul Johnson – Southern University Student and Health Department Intern   

This month, join Paul Johnson who is a Southern University student and an intern for the Fairfield Health Department as he explains food safety. Paul will explain safe cooking temperatures for different foods as well as ways you can protect yourself from getting any foodborne illnesses.

The Chronic Disease and Diabetes Support Group is held the second Tuesday of each month, September- June, from 1-2 PM at the Fairfield Senior Center, Room 14. Pre-registration is not required and the program is free. If the Fairfield Public Schools are closed or delayed due to bad weather, the Senior Center will be closed and programs will be cancelled.
