We are at higher risk for falls as we age. One in three people over the age of 65 will fall and have a significant injury. These falls impact our quality of life and out pocketbooks (billions of dollars are spent each year on treatments as the result of falls). We have tips on how you can protect yourself from the staggering effect of falls.

The Chronic Disease and Diabetes Support Group is held the second Tuesday of each month, September- June, from 1-2 PM at the Fairfield Senior Center, Room 14. Pre-registration is not required and the program is free. If the Fairfield Public Schools are closed or delayed due to bad weather, the Senior Center will be closed and programs will be cancelled. Please call 203-256-3150 for further information about this program, which is sponsored by the Town of Fairfield Health Department in collaboration with the Fairfield Senior Center.
