Harvest New England is a private company contracted by the Town of Fairfield to accept yard waste and process compost at the Public Works Yard.

Use Requirements

A valid 'A' beach sticker or dump sticker is required. If you don't have a town sticker, you will automatically be charged as a commercial customer.


Harvest New England maintains different hours depending upon the season.  Please check the following chart for hours of operation and note the holiday closures below:

Christmas Tree Dropoff

Harvest New England accepts Christmas trees free of charge.  In addition to regular weekday hours, the Yard Waste Facility will be open on Saturday January 5th and Saturday January 12th from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. for Christmas Tree and Yard Waste disposal.
