This is a real ‘win-win’ situation for both the non-profit groups and the businesses involved. On the one hand, community organizations are able to raise much needed funds to help support a number of very worthwhile initiatives that benefit local residents. On the other, businesses that make a charitable gift toward these programs are able to reduce their corporate tax liability.
This infrastructure upgrade is part of an ongoing program to improve Aquarion’s water distribution system and to ensure the highest quality water and service. The project is designed to maintain water main pressure and fire flow capacity in the greater Bridgeport area and is expected to be completed in April 2023.
