8/20/2019 - Town of Fairfield Holding Public Information Sessions on Fill Use Issues - August 21 & August 22

The Town of Fairfield is holding two public information sessions this week to provide residents with an update on fill use issues impacting Gould Manor Park, the Town’s ballfields and other town parks. Residents are encouraged to visit the Fill Use Issues webpage which the Health Department has created to keep residents informed and updated.

In order to hear everyone’s questions and comments, the public is being asked to please bring their questions or comments in writing to the meetings:

Thursday, August 22, 2019

Fairfield, CT 06825

First Selectman Mike Tetreau, Health Department Director Sands Cleary, Conservation Director and Interim Superintendent of Public Works Brian Carey, Connecticut Department of Health Epidemiologist Meg Harvey (only able to attend Wednesday’s session) and Jim Olsen, Vice-President of Tighe & Bond, a Licensed Environmental Professional firm that is helping the Town, will be present to update residents and answer questions.

The Town will soon be announcing two additional public information sessions that will be held next week and any other sessions going forward, as needed. The Town is offering various dates to give residents an opportunity to attend on an evening they are available. The format for each session will be similar.
