12/3/2021 - Compass Opens New Office in Town

Press Release:

Compass is modernizing the buying and selling process

Fairfield, CT - Compass, the leading real estate technology company, announces the opening of a new office at 1 Sasco Hill Road. Distinguished guests, including Compass administrators, local agents, and community leaders, will officially unlatch the doors on Thursday, December 2, at 3:30 pm with a Ribbing Cutting Ceremony.

Compass's expansion into Fairfield mirrors the company's recent growth throughout the state and nationwide. Since 2018, Compass has opened six offices throughout Connecticut in Greenwich, Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Westport, and now Fairfield. Over the last year, Compass expanded into 14 new major metro areas, including St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Charlotte.

"We are proud to pair local real estate agents who are active members of the community with a vast national referral network and time-saving technology," said Mary Lowe, managing director of sales.

The Compass Fairfield office, a 4,000 square foot space that formerly was Bankwell Executive Suites, will house powerhouse agents, including Katie O'Grady Team, Helene Daly, David Kasnoff, and Krista Alecia, who are known throughout the industry for their deep market knowledge and the utmost attention to detail. Their combined expertise will allow more buyers and sellers to work with agents who expertly service clients in Fairfield and throughout the Connecticut Gold Coast into Bridgeport, Stratford, Trumbull, Milford, and beyond.

"Joining Compass in this fast-paced digital world has allowed me to move fast while keeping a personal focus on my clients," said Katie O'Grady. "I'm looking forward to further expanding my business with the support of Compass's in-house marketing, PR, and social media agency."

Compass Connecticut has welcomed many top agents in recent years. According to Real Trends 2020, 15 small Compass teams ranked in the top 50 teams, far outpacing any other brokerage. As homebuyers continue searching for primary and secondary homes outside of traditional commuter towns, this new expansion will allow for greater coverage and better service using best-in-class technology.

The new office comes at a time when Compass is heavily investing in digital tools. Compass Lens, for example, was launched last year. The Al-powered tool allows homeowners to envision what homes look like with cosmetic upgrades to maximize their value. Compass also recently launched Video Studio, a video-based suite that enables agents to create custom listing videos in minutes through the Compass proprietary platform.
