Curbside Collection

With the exception of Fall leaf pickup, all curbside collection of trash, recycling and yard waste is provided by private haulers. Residents with a valid sticker can bring their trash and recycling to the Transfer Station (for a fee), and yard waste to WeCare Denali at no charge.

Residential Collection

With the exception of Fall leaf pickup, all trash, recycling and yard waste collection is private, in Fairfield. Click here for a list of licensed residential haulers that have been approved by the Commission. Christmas tree pickup is at the discretion of the hauler; the Town of Fairfield does not collect Christmas trees.

Commercial Collection

Haulers

Haulers must be licensed and are approved by the Solid Waste and Recycling Commission. Click here for a list of licensed commercial haulers that have been approved by the Commission.

Leaf Collection

The Town provides curbside leaf collection four weeks each Fall, free of charge. Click here for Fall leaf pick up information. The Town of Fairfield does not collect Christmas trees.

Oversight

Trash, recycling and yard waste collection is managed by the Solid Waste and Recycling Department; policies and procedures are made by the Solid Waste and Recycling Commission.
