Lifeguard Schedule - 2023
LIFEGUARDS will be on duty 10:00am to 6:00pm weekends only from May 27 to June 18. Lake Mohegan will staff lifeguard everyday from 10:00am to 8:00pm beginning May 27 to September 3. Regular summer hours will begin on June 19 with lifeguards on duty daily 10:00am to 6:00pm at Jennings, Penfield, Sasco, Southport, and South Pine Creek Beaches. (Dates subject to change.)
SAFETY & RULES - A few important reminders:
No Alcohol beverages or Private Grills are permitted on the Town’s Beaches
For your safety, please only swim in regulated swimming areas and obey all lifeguards.
FAIRFIELD TOWN BEACHES - 2023 END OF BEACH SEASON SCHEDULE
Sasco, Southport and South Pine Creek Beaches – Will be staffed with lifeguards through Sunday, August 13. There will be no lifeguards on duty as of Monday, August 14.
Jennings and Penfield Beaches and Lake Mohegan – Will be staffed with lifeguards daily through Sunday, August 27. Then again on Labor Day weekend (Saturday, Sept. 2 – Monday, Sept. 4).
Beaches may have reduced swim areas. Please be sure to obey the lifeguards and to swim in permitted areas only. Penfield and Jennings will be selling and daily parking passes routinely through Labor Day. Proper resident stickers will still be required at all sites, with the exception of Lake Mohegan, the Labor Day.
