On December 21, 2022, the Conservation Commission voted unanimously to approve a draft Lease Agreement to graze sheep or goats at Hoydens Hill open space in an effort to control invasive mugwort in the northernmost fields.  While this has proven effective in other Towns and certainly an alternative to herbicides, the greatest challenge may be finding the right farmer.  The CT Post published an article in today's paper HERE
