The Purchasing Dept. has issued a RFP (see below) to construct a bird observation blind on our Oldfield Road North open space.  The open space will be greatly enhanced by the blind which will be installed in partnership with The Tucker Fund, for bird watchers to view the abundance of waterfowl and wildlife in this tidal marsh.   In addition, an osprey nesting platform is scheduled to be installed by an Eagle Scout candidate from Troop 199.  The Department looks forward to improving our open space from both an ecological perspective and recreational users alike.
