6/24/2019 - Town Participates in Make Music Day with 21 Free Musical Performances

The Town of Fairfield’s Office of Community & Economic Development is pleased to announce that on Friday, June 21, 2019, Fairfield participated for the second time in the annual Make Music Day. Make Music Day began 37 years ago in France and is an opportunity for musicians of any skill level to make free music for their friends and neighbors. This year Fairfield joined other Connecticut towns with over 250 musical events statewide.

The celebration in Fairfield featured musicians of different styles and ages in many locations around town -- from Jennings Beach to the Sherman Green Gazebo. As part of the mission to make music accessible to all, Make Music Day is completely free for all attendees. View Fairfield's video on the following link MakeMusicDayFairfield_SGC_ColorEdit004.mp4
