9:00 Weight Training with
Diane No charge
class uses heavy and light weights, and also incorporates use of a soft ball.
We work in and out of a chair listening and occasionally dancing to great
music! In this class you will work your whole body!
10:15 Zumba with Barbara No charge
A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle
conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of
awesome each time you leave class. Zumba classes are fun and easy to follow; low impact aerobic/dance classes to Latin and International rhythms. No dance experience required. Please join us. Bring a towel, water and wear aerobic sneakers.
11:30 Qigong with Julie $5 per session
to Traditional Chinese Medicine, is a disruption in the free flow of Qi,
or energy, through the body affects one’s overall health. In this class you
will be introduced to the moving meditation and “exercise” movements
of Qigong. Qigong is shown to boost immune system, lessen stress, improve
balance, increase strength and focus, and energize the body. No prior
experience is needed. Wear loose comfortable clothes and sneakers. Leave class
with a clear mind and a balanced body!
1:00 Tai Chi for Arthritis with Jonathon $5 per session
An evidenced based program shown to reduce arthritic pain. This program is easy to learn. Tai Chi is one of many alternative therapies that can provide relief from pain. The Tai Chi for Arthritis Program is designed to improve the quality of life for people with arthritis. The movements don't require deep bending or squatting, which makes it easier and more comfortable to learn.
